Meet your teaching artist
Jacqueline Alvarino
(she/her/hers)
Jacqueline is a Southern California mixed media artist. She is well-known for her rhythmic layering, use of unusual media and preference for vibrant colors. Her unconventional methods of abstract painting and collage work provide her with the vehicle to channel her inner psyche onto the canvas. She has displayed her collections throughout Los Angeles and Orange County including the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art, Muckenthaler Cultural Center, Fullerton College, and Stay Gallery.
Jacqueline started the Jac Alva Art studio in 2018 and has created interactive on-site and virtual classes with students of all ages via Healing He(art) with Jac Alva Art.
COVID-19 guidelines
Face masks required for all participants.
Proof of vaccination or negative test required for admission. All participants age 18+ must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination(s) or a negative test result within 72 hours prior to the workshop. Upon arrival, please be ready to show a valid photo ID and:
your paper vaccination card, digital vaccination record, or a photograph of your vaccination card (both sides), or
electronic or printed documentation of your negative result, the name of the entity that issued the result, your full name, and the date of the test.

We understand that everyone has different financial needs. Please choose a price range that works best for you and your family:

Pay It Forward helps provide another family with the opportunity to participate at a discounted rate.
Refunds or cancellations
Full refunds will be given to cancellations with at least 24 hours notice. Refunds will not be issued to same day cancellations or no shows.
Stay Gallery reserves the right to cancel workshops with low sign ups or for unforeseen circumstances. Registrants will be notified at least 24 hours prior and full refunds will be processed.
Workshop waiver
