Join us on Friday, June 9, 2023 from 6 – 9pm for the closing reception of motherHOOD, a photovoice project and exhibition highlighting Black and Latina/x motherhood in all forms. Led and curated by Lauren Temple, with support from BIZ Stoop and Stay Arts. Featuring film photographs and stories by twelve local mothers: Camille Tyas, China Oseguera, De Anna Pittman, Karla Carrillo, Londyn Douglas, Ninoska Tamayo, Rosa Martinez, Sandra Mejia, Shaqueal Adkins, Sopavy Seng, Sunumi Jackson, and Tanya Lewis.

Absolutely! This event is family friendly. Children are more than welcome to attend, but must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. We will have a free art station available with coloring supplies to use.
Yes, we will have both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase.
