Join us for the opening reception of our fourth annual installation of The Local Group Show, a group exhibition highlighting the creative diversity of Los Angeles County. This exhibition features the work and stories of 52 local artists from varying backgrounds, age groups, experience levels and mediums, including painting, illustration, mixed media, photography and three dimensional works.
On view from July 1 – September 23, 2022

This event is free – however, please consider making a donation-based RSVP.
Every dollar supports our nonprofit's community programming, which provides an accessible platform for local artists to share their work and keeps admission to our space free for the community.
Safety guidelines
Face masks are required inside the gallery, unless you are enjoying a refreshment. Social distancing is highly encouraged between separate groups.
Vaccination
Attendees are recommended to be fully vaccinated or to obtain a negative COVID-19 test before arriving at the event.
Increased sanitation
Hand sanitizer stations will be available in the gallery and high-touch surfaces will be disinfected throughout the event.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. Please stay home if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
Is there parking available?
Free street parking is available on Downey Avenue or in the parking lot behind Embassy Suites & Wells Fargo. We do not have our own parking lot.
Are children allowed to attend?
Absolutely! Children are more than welcome, but must be attended by a parent or guardian at all times.
Will there be drinks at the reception?
Yes, we will have drinks available for purchase – both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. We will also have water for purchase.
Will there be food at the reception?
Yes, food will be available for purchase with Dear Mama. We kindly ask that you do not bring your own food or food from another location to the event.
