Montebello Street Fest
On Saturday, August 21, 2021, we had the opportunity to participate in the first annual Downtown Montebello Street Fest. At our booth, we provided a pop-up exhibition and an interactive wall where community members shared their answers to two questions: “What does art look like in your community?” and “How do you express your creativity?”. We had a wonderful time getting to know the Montebello community and hearing about the arts and creativity in their city!
With the generous support of our donors, we were also able to distribute 100 free mini paint kits to the children and families that visited our booth.
A big thank you to the city of Montebello for inviting us to participate and to Edlin Lopez of Open Walls for coming through with the mobile gallery walls for our exhibition.
El sábado 21 de agosto de 2021, tuvimos la oportunidad de participar en el primer Downtown Montebello Street Fest anual. Proporcionamos una exhibición de arte y un muro interactivo donde los miembros de la comunidad compartieron sus respuestas a dos preguntas: “¿Cómo es el arte en su comunidad?” y “¿Cómo expresas tu creatividad?”. ¡Disfrutamos de nuestro tiempo conociendo a la comunidad de Montebello y escuchando sobre las artes y la creatividad en su ciudad!
Con el generoso apoyo de nuestros donantes, también distribuimos 100 kits de pintura gratuitos a los niños y familias que nos visitaron.
