If you are an artist, someone who works in the arts community or apart of an arts organization that has been impacted by COVID-19, here is a list of arts service organizations with available resources, opportunities and financial relief options:


Super Resources

  • Freelance Artist Resources – Freelance Artist Resource Producing Collective

    This list is designed for freelance artists and those seeking to support the independent artist community. Includes everything from general preparedness strategies for artists, emergency funding and online webinar events.

  • Emergency Resources for Artists – Center for Cultural Innovation

    An extensive list of emergency and disaster relief funds, CARES Act resources, mutual aid and government agency resources.


Grants & Financial Relief

  • FCA COVID-19 Emergency Grant – Foundation for Contemporary Art

    Deadline – March 15, 2021

    An emergency fund of one-time $2,000 grants for visual and experimental artists impacted by the economic fallout from postponed or canceled performances or exhibitions.

  • CERF+ Emergency Assistance – CERF+ The Artist’s Safety Net

    Currently ongoing

    CERF+ The Artist’s Safety Net is offering emergency financial assistance to artists experiencing a career threatening emergency, such as recent illness, accident, fire or natural disaster.

  • Artist Relief – Multiple Art Grantmakers

    Currently paused

    Created by seven mid-sized arts grantmakers, this relief fund distributes $5,000 grants to artists facing dire financial emergencies – such as housing, medicine, childcare and food – due to COVID-19.
