The Local Group Show aims to highlight a diverse group of artists from within Los Angeles County. Our goal is to create an exhibition that is accessible to artists of all age groups, backgrounds, experiences and mediums. Your story and form of expression matters to us, and we want to provide you with a platform to be seen and heard.
Below you will find artwork requirements, important deadlines and all necessary forms for your participation in this exhibition.
You may exhibit one piece of your choice.
Your piece must be labeled on the back when dropped off: name, title, medium, dimensions (height x width) and price. If not for sale, please include “Not For Sale”.
Artwork on paper or digital print must be matted or framed
Will be mounted to wall using 3M Command Strips
If under 5lbs – frame will be mounted to wall using 3M Command Strips
If over 5lbs – frame must be wired
If under 5lbs – canvas will be mounted to wall using 3M Command Strips
If over 5lbs – canvas must be wired
Sculptures / 3-Dimensional Works
Must fit through the gallery door – 84” x 31.5”
Artist must provide pedestal if necessary
Wiring services and 3M Command Strips are available at the gallery for $5 (at drop-off)
Please schedule a time with us to drop off your work during our gallery hours, Tuesday – Friday, 12 – 5p. If you require other time arrangements, please let us know.
On Thursday, July 11 from 7 – 9p, we will be hosting an artist gathering at Stay. Get to know our team, see our space, learn about our organization and meet the other participating artists. We will meet with you individually to answer any questions you may have and cover any other details.
If you have a piece already selected, you may drop it off during this time. If you cannot attend, we can schedule a time for you to meet with us and drop off your work at your convenience.
